Movie songs are nothing but soundtracks used in a movie for entertainment purposes. Most movies are produce with soundtracks with its title which is arguably a tradition carried since years ago. Songs are generally composed of music, vocals, lyrics etc. Vocal is a term that is used to refer to a singer and should not be confused with Chorus which is more than one singer singing together. A song can be accompanied or unaccompanied by vocals or voice of a singer. If the song is unaccompanied by vocals it does not require lyrics which are sung by the singer of the track.
Songs without a vocal can be generally considered as instrumental or karaoke. In most movies songs with vocals are used to offer pleasant melody to the viewers. Almost all film industry adopt songs may it be Hollywood, Bollywood or Indian film industry, Cinema of Hong Kong or any other movie industry. It is noticed that the tradition is well carried by films made in India as there are usually more than one song in a movie. However, in contrary to this there are also Indian movies which have no songs at all. Cinema of Hong Kong has also contributed several movies which also features songs.
Most English language movies if do not have song as a part of the film then it is likely that a soundtrack will be featured during the Introduction or end-crediting of the movie. Movie songs have transformed extensively through the course of time. Initially songs were more orthodox which then gradually transformed into modern medleys with latest instruments and tune. Music pieces are an important aspect in a movie as they helps in intensifying the feel of a scene in form of background music. Being an important part of a film, movie songs are probably a never ending concept in the film industry.
